Orlando World Street Finals

October 13-16 are the dates for the Orlando World Street Nationals, and the best of the best will be in town once again. If you've never attended this event and you're into high performance street machines, this is a must attend event! Thursday, October 13th, the show begins with a car show at the Race Rock Cafe on International Drive. It's a sight to behold with motorcycle police escorting 6 second e.t. cars down the street to the Race Rock Cafe parking lot. There will be hundreds of the fastest "street" cars assembled in one area for viewing the latest in new performance ideals. After eating, talking car stuff, and taking photos, the streets are blocked off around 8 pm and racers and street machines alike are allowed to proceed back to the trailer parking area. Now the excitement really begins and I will only say that our departure from the parking lot will be a smoke- filled exit! Videos at 11:00!

Qualifying begins the next day with five classes and each having 32 positions. Drivers, some traveling great distances, will attempt to qualify for one of the 32 positions. Last year one class had more than 120 cars entered so 88 drivers went home. That's why I say "The Baddest of the Bad" come out for this race. Want an example: Last year's Street Radial Tire Class #1 qualifier was in the 7 second zone. Yes, a drag radial tire car running seven seconds in the quarter mile in a 3,500 lb Camaro. Is that quick enough for you! See you there!

What's the Best Camaro Every Made?

I keep hearing about how great the 1969 Camaro was, what's your opinion? I think the best Camaro every built was the 4th Generation Camaro, styling, handling, gas mileage and overall performance. Do you agree?

Carburetor Spacers Worth It or Not?

Carburetor Performance Spacers are not all they claim to be. Horsepower claims of 30 or more horsepower seems like "snake oil" what's your thoughts?

Camaro Owners feel left out of Car Shows

Often I hear Camaro owners complain that they feel left out of both local and regional car shows, and I'm trying to figure this out can anyone shed some light on this subject?
